Mike Yarkey, a long time resident of the Peninsula, grew up learning the construction trade while working for his father, Ray Yarkey, a successful real estate broker and owner of Century 21 Tidewater Realty, Tidewater Property Management, & East Coast Builders. Mike learned the value of hard work and excellence while working alongside his father and brother maintaining rental properties and constructing new homes.

Upon his graduation from Menchville High in 1990, Mike ventured into owning and operating his own commercial painting business which focused on painting the exteriors of high rise buildings in Daytona, Florida. After three years as a successful painting contractor, Mike headed back to his family and the Peninsula and dedicated himself to learning the roofing trade.

Mike worked for several local companies as he honed his roofing skills. In 2000, Mike started his own roofing company and has devoted his business to quality workmanship for over ten years. His commitment to quality, dependability, and affordability has earned him a positive reputation among homeowners & commercial companies alike.
